We have been very busy this week in Bumblebees.
In Maths we have been adding and subtracting and solving problems using addition and subtraction. We have been working with two and three digit numbers and started adding money. It was fun and we are getting much better at presenting our place value clearly.
In English we have been looking at mixed up fairy tales and switching the character roles. The heroes have become the villains and the villains have become the heroes. We learnt about William and were not happy about the story ending. We didn’t realise that the story was the three little pigs backwards until the end. We were not expecting it. We have also been learning about adverbial phrases and drop in clauses.
In R.E was learnt about different charities that help people such as St John’s Ambulance, Oxfam, Christian Aid and the R.S.P.C.A.
We have also been busy getting ready class assembly.
From Bumblebees
I think we all worked pretty well , and definitely deserve to do well in our class Assembly.
For another charity there is children in need and cancer research.
You’re right Lucy, there are many worth while causes that people support.
Well done .
This week has been fun.
